François Hamelin

Having started short track speed skating at the age of 5, there is no doubt that François Hamelin has a true passion for his sport. Beginning his sixth season on the international scene, Francois ranks among the best skaters in the world.  In World Cups this year, he reached the podium twice, winning two bronze medals in the relay event.  He also competed against the fastest skaters repeatedly during finals.

After having a difficult year, the Olympic champion in Vancouver, showed courage, determination and hard work, which allowed him to get his pass for Sochi Olympics.
